STILL . SMALL . VOICE

Updated: Apr 23, 2020

Beyond a whisper

Underneath the gusts of wind Hiding in the crevices the space between the noise Often covered by the chatter of doubt and insecurities Often overwhelmed by the noise of the external world The noise that says, "You are not enough.... yet!" The noise that says "get this job make this money make them like you AND THEN you will be loveable" This still small voice is hidden under the illusion that it is outside accomplishments outside opinions that define our worth And yet, when we stop When we detach from the noise we THINK defines us. When we hear the soft putter of the rain or feel the wind float past our skin We quiet the chatter and feel deeply into the space into the essence of presence Beingness An oneness with life that then peels open our eyes to reveal the truth beneath the noise the buried gifts of every person the magic waiting to be released It is in this stillness this present moment A secure center within That we radiate Emanate Illuminate our true potential That we are guided to adventures to experiences to our OWN authentic and unique answers to a fulfilling life of love and serenity peace and solitude found within us all Turns out that still, small voice isn't so small after all.
